Hello, today I was supposed to receive my order. I called customer service and apparently the delivery person got the city wrong. I can't afford to take afternoons off. Not to mention the transportation costs. A goodwill gesture would be welcome. Kind regards.
* eBay doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t deliver anything, it’s just a platform for putting people in touch,
* carriers do not take this kind of consideration into account (clearly set out in their T&Cs),
* this is a forum between users.
When you buy on eBay, you are buying from a seller, who will use a shipping company to deliver to you.
And in any distance order, generally speaking, there can always be unforeseen issues, and no one will compensate for a delay//postponement in delivery.
If you don’t have availability to receive it, the best thing is to stick to pickup or in-store purchases...
