eBay shipping platform: the package disappeared, the post office tells me the package was not collected....

I made my first sale on eBay on 29.6. As agreed, I used the platform offered by eBay to send the item via Colissimo, with pickup and collection of the parcel from my mailbox (scheduled for 30.6). I check when I get home this evening, the parcel has indeed been picked up and I have a notice confirming it. Checking my emails, I receive a message from Colissimo explaining that the parcel could not be collected because of a label error. Unfortunately, I did use the platform's label (only one sale, not complicated), and fortunately I took a photo of the parcel in the mailbox at the time of drop-off (and you can clearly see the label and its parcel number). I can't find much on the eBay site for filing a claim. I sent a message through their "contact". I don't even know how to file a claim with Colissimo, since I don't have an account because I used the eBay platform. Would one of the sellers know how I should do it? I admit I'm lost, it's my first sale on eBay, what's more! Thanks for any help from the forum! Help!

OP1 year agoI should point out that the parcel has disappeared, of course! So either it was picked up and the email message is wrong, or it was stolen from my mailbox (by the collector???). What's more, the Colissimo pickup notice is checked as "I have indeed collected your parcel" — it's crazy!
