File a complaint against eBay
Summary: dblseller explains that his brother was banned from eBay, losing the money from his sales after an IBAN change with his Revolut bank, and is unable to update his payment information. madelodie advises contacting eBay customer service, while lingma85 thinks the problem could be related to eBay recognizing the new IBAN. dblseller notes the unexplained disappearance of the money and *miss-tigri* suggests contacting the FEVAD mediator to resolve the issue.
He therefore called that lousy phone support, and a barely understandable person on the other end of the line told him to contact the Luxembourg help service by email and that he would send him the email address. Nothing was sent. Even worse, the money in his balance and his entire sales history were deleted. All this to ask: eBay is obliged to pay its sellers even if they are banned, right? That would be theft (more than it already is, I mean) for them to keep the money from the sales, right?

Mentor2 years agoHello @dblseller
It seems that your brother is not really a “victim” of eBay... but rather of some kind of mess with the Lithuanian online bank Revolut in changing his IBAN to a French IBAN...
As a result, eBay did not recognize it and no doubt thinks that your brother’s account was hacked, hence the account closure... (or something along those lines...)
This will not be easy to sort out and you may run into some snags by contacting
