possible scam
Hello,
I just sold an item, the buyer paid but is asking me to change the recipient name (same parcel pickup point but different recipient name).
I should note that the buyer has 0 purchases and 0 sales.
Could this potentially be a scam?

The changes must be made by the buyer before the purchase

Impossible to say, but if you ship to a different name than the one entered when the purchase was made, you will not be protected in the event of a non-receipt dispute.
So it is better to cancel the transaction by refunding:

(be careful with the cancellation reason selected at the level of the eBay fees refund)
Then either the buyer makes the necessary changes to their account regarding delivery before placing the order again, or - if you don't feel comfortable with that - you put their username on your blacklist:
