I am furious with EBAY !!!
I sold an item in Thailand, 7 days later I still had no payment showing on my Paypal balance, I contacted Paypal by phone, they told me they were verifying the buyer's account (who was getting impatient), but I was not going to send an item that had not been paid for by the buyer, I was waiting for the payment. Seeing nothing shipped, the buyer canceled the transaction and I have to pay fees? the world is upside down !!!
Here is what I get from EBAY "An amount of 20,69 EUR will soon be debited from your bank account ending in ..." on a sale for 138,00€ for which I received nothing.
Thanks Ebay, I think you just lost a loyal and too-honest seller and buyer for years. Don't sell abroad, that's what happens !! I had 17 bids on this card and all were from abroad or from people with zero profiles who had just signed up on EBAY

OP1 year agoI understand better now because it’s been a while since I went on EBAY, but I didn’t receive anything (like Paypal does) regarding the payment from EBAY.
It’s hard to browse and find certain answers on the EBAY site; I hope they’ll make an effort about the €20.69 fee, otherwise I’ll delete my account.
Unfortunately, there are more and more scams coming from abroad, very often, so caution is essential

you are not addressing eBay at all. You’re on a help forum with eBay members like you.

Since the beginning of 2021, the sale amount is only paid out by bank transfer to your bank account. We no longer receive anything into the Paypal account (unless the payment was made off-site).

However, it would seem from the message you got from eBay that your bank account has been entered.
Go to your Seller Hub in the "payments" tab for more information about this sale.
And contact eBay customer service if needed.
