Customer support taken into account
Summary: happyloute bought a floor scrubber on July 15, 2025, but is experiencing malfunctions. They asked the seller, based in Germany, to handle it under warranty. However, the seller is refusing, claiming the request comes after one year, even though it was made exactly one year after the purchase. happyloute pointed out that the legal warranty in Europe is two years but has not received any further response from the seller and is looking for advice on how to assert their after-sales service rights.
Hello, I bought a floor scrubber on July 15, 2025.
The machine has a malfunction and I asked the seller to take care of it. They refuse to handle after-sales service on the pretext that the order is more than one year old.
I pointed out to them that my message was written on the one-year anniversary date, namely July 15, 2026.
The seller tells me that it’s not the time the message was sent that counts, but the date in their system.....
In the end, exactly 1 year.
I pointed out to them that the legal warranty in Europe is 2 years. They are a German seller.
Today, no more replies from them.
I don’t know how to make them understand that they are acting in bad faith.
How do I get after-sales service to take care of it?

You don’t give the value of your purchase, so it’s hard to know whether it’s worth continuing with this nasty seller...
Based on the information you’ve given, and since this seller is turning a deaf ear.. you can let them know that you’ll start legal proceedings against them if they don’t bother to respect their sales contract regarding the legal warranty.
