Price in the shopping cart higher than on the product page
I would like to buy an item from a seller located in the UK.
On the product page, the price is 244£, or 290€ + 47£, or 56€ for shipping.
Once in the cart, the base price becomes 292£, or 345€. That's a difference of almost 60€!
These are not import fees, which are clearly listed separately in the cart (77£/90€).
Can you explain where this difference comes from?
Thanks.

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @toto9588
Since you are an importer.... and the UK is no longer part of the € zone....
- wouldn't it simply be the VAT due when importing a product from abroad...??
Best regards

OP2 years agoBut I just looked at the item from eBay.co.uk, and indeed in the product listing it does show up at £290 (so just like in my cart on eBay FR).
Good catch, thanks!
