Evaluation problem
Summary: poup13 shares an eBay sales experience where the item received did not meet expectations. After email exchanges to resolve the situation, poup13 feels the seller is unresponsive, apparently due to a problem with eBay's messaging system. koalagris suggests that the seller could contact customer service to resolve the feedback issue. poup13 prefers to communicate in writing and points out the ongoing problem with eBay messaging, while koalagris proposes following up with a phone call to clarify things and then confirm everything in writing afterward.
Good evening. Following a sale, the item received did not quite meet expectations. Emails were exchanged to find a solution. My reply gave my approval to settle it amicably. No response, 2 emails to find out what was going on, and a final email to give a deadline before evaluation (negative). It turns out that the seller's Ebay messaging system never received my emails. As for me, I have all the exchanges. Photos were exchanged to justify both sides. The seller cannot ask Ebay to get me to change my evaluation, and his messaging system still does not take my emails into account! Ebay contacted and simply indicated the usual route but must not have read my message in full. If someone has a solution so as not to disadvantage this seller, I'm interested. Kind regards

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @poup13
It’s up to the seller to contact customer service to find out why they can’t request a review modification (normally they have 30 days from the review submission date to take action).
There’s nothing you can do on your end (not even a comment to soften your review, since you’ve already used that option and only one additional comment can be added to the review).
The seller is a pro: you had their phone no. on their profile and in their listings, it would have been easier and quicker to talk directly.
Best regards
