Communication issue for in-person handoff
Summary: aldai_95 had a problem with an eBay sale concerning the in-person handoff of an item. Hello, I received a message yesterday from eBay saying that I had sold an item, which I'm used to, except that this time, and for the first time, instead of shipping it's an in-person handoff, not complicated on the face of it, so I send a message to my buyer without giving them my address directly before clearly determining the method for handing over the item, asking whether they could come to my home, a question that obviously calls for a reply that I'm still waiting for, I necessarily have a deadline to deliver the item so I imagine after that the buyer will have to get a refund from eBay, I find this very annoying, I still need to know whether I'll have the ability to justify the reason for the problem, and I should mention I even sent another message yesterday evening but still no response

OP2 years agoReally sorry, but that doesn’t give me the solution. My buyer must have seen my messages and still hasn’t replied to me, and on top of that eBay has already paid me. I’m at a loss, I don’t see how to discuss this with eBay by phone. I found a 9-digit phone number starting with 07, I called once using a number starting with 01, but you can’t anymore?

OP2 years agoThank you for your response, I actually found out how to ask to be called to explain the case, I contacted the buyer again to follow up, no response, I’m keeping the item, if they open a dispute on me I’ll contact eBay again. Best regards
