Shipping cost recalculation issue
Summary: lynn.strait is having a problem with shipping fees on eBay, where they have to pay $516.21 for 40 items, while the seller says it should not exceed $26.64. lingma85 suggests asking the seller to create a combined listing with the correct purchases and shipping fees to avoid this issue. lynn.strait decides to follow this advice and contact the seller.
Hello. Ebay calculates $516.21$ in shipping fees for 40 items bought in the USA (by insisting on "pay" otherwise it only takes 10 items into account...) and I can't request combined shipping (recurring problem...). The seller tells me it shouldn't exceed $10 in addition to the $16.64 shipping fees (so $26.64). How should I proceed?
I should point out that for years there have been problems when calculating payment for multiple items or for combined shipping requests, it's unacceptable to be this incompetent, will ebay finally find a solution??

Mentor1 year agoGood evening @lynn.strait
It’s not up to the buyer to determine the amount of the shipping fees, but up to the seller to do what’s necessary, especially since they gave you the amount.
At worst, ask them to make you a listing grouping your purchases + shipping fees and to give you the URL so you can buy the listing and pay.
I assume you put the items in a cart.. normally you should be able to cancel those orders.
Kind regards
