Problem with the buyer's account
Summary: basdegr-43 received a message from eBay informing them that the auction for one of their items was canceled due to a problem with the buyer's account. eBay advises not to complete the transaction or communicate with the buyer, and to contact the carrier if the item is already out for delivery. *miss-tigri* asks whether basdegr-43 tried to stop the delivery.
I just received the following message from eBay
We are informing you that a bid or an order for the listing below has been canceled due to a problem related to the buyer's account:
Xxxxxxxx - xxxxxx
We understand your disappointment, but unfortunately, the buyer xxxxxx is no longer registered on eBay and we had to cancel all of his pending transactions.
Here is what you need to do
If you have not already done so, do not complete the transaction or send the item to pokeswitch.
Do not communicate any further with pokeswitch, especially if he contacts you outside of eBay.
If pokeswitch asks for a payment or a refund, do not send any money without first contacting eBay. If the payment has been processed, the refund has not yet been made, in case you have already sent the item.
If you have already sent the item, contact the carrier to see if it can stop the delivery and send the item back to you.
If the listing has ended, you can relist the item.
