Hello, I’ve been registered with Ebay for about ten years!
For the past two or three days I’ve had a connection problem.
In fact, I don’t have a mobile phone and apparently that’s the only way for the past two days to be able to log into your Ebay account!
Until two days ago I could have a verification code sent to me by email, now that option doesn’t exist.
The phone option doesn’t work, so the only possibility is by SMS.
And not having a mobile, only a landline...
So I asked a friend to lend me his mobile number so I could get into my Ebay account.
And I succeeded.
The only problem is that I can’t ask him to call me every time I want to get into my Ebay account so he can give me the code he receives by SMS.
How is it possible to go back to the verification code by email option?

I’m also thinking about disabling the “2-step verification,” unfortunately on ebay.fr the only page about this feature is in English (???)...

(you will nevertheless find at the very bottom of the page the link to have customer service call you back - on the number registered on your eBay account -)
