Impossible to schedule absence
I no longer have access to my main eBay account and, since I’m abroad, I need to reschedule an absence.
How can I contact an eBay advisor so they can possibly carry out this step that I can’t do myself?
(I had to reinstall my iOS and so, to access my account, eBay is asking me for validation by SMS….but since I’m abroad with another mobile, I can’t receive this SMS and regain access to my account to set my absence.)

It would be easier to give your contact details and account codes to a trusted loved one, so they can do the manipulation for you...
It’s up to you to explain to them what they’ll need to do...
At worst, you can change your password again when you get back...
It would be surprising for an eBay adviser to do this work for you.

you need to stop "playing" with your account from abroad without being able to log in, because eBay may think a hack is in progress and will block it to protect it...
