PROMOTIONS
Summary: vinylandspirit69 explains that they sell vinyl records and CDs and recently tried to launch a "Winter Sale" promotion after a previous Christmas offer. However, they realized the items weren’t showing the discount, apparently because a promotion can only be relaunched 30 days after the previous one ends. max2661953 confirms this rule and explains that the items must be at the original price for 30 days before a new promotion. vinylandspirit69 thanks them for the clarification.
Hello
I sell vinyl records and CDs. In December I did -10% on my entire catalog of 8000 items for the Christmas holidays. (until 12/30). Yesterday I created a new promotion "Winter sale" from 01/10 to 02/09. This morning my promotion is correctly marked as "in progress". Except that none of my items have the 10% with the crossed-out price. Reading the terms, it says that you can only run a promotion again 30 days after the previous promotion. Did I understand that correctly? And do you know why? It's a shame, because in December it boosted my sales and that's why I wanted to do it again for the sales.
Thanks for your replies

·2 years agoHello, @vinylandspirit69 ,
You got it right.
Requirements: The product must have been on sale at the original price for at least 30 days before your promotional event A product can be included in a promotion for a maximum period of 14 days. You then have to wait 30 days before you can include it in a promotion again.
As for the reason, EB has its reasons that reason knows nothing about 😈
