Question about listing photos
Summary: brshop26 noticed that their listing photos were stolen and is wondering whether they can use watermarks. A response from koalagris confirms that although some sellers do this, it is technically prohibited by eBay and could result in the listings being removed. Links to eBay’s rules are provided for more details. brshop26 thanks them for the clarification.
Hello, I noticed that my listing photos were being stolen.
My question is this: can I use photos with watermarks?
I see sellers do it, but while searching I read somewhere that it was forbidden by Ebay and that my listings can be removed because of that, or be poorly referenced.
I'm talking about a subtle watermark, nicely blended in, but still visible across the whole space of the photo, with only the name of my shop.
Thanks in advance if anyone takes the time to reply!
