Protection question
Summary: picvin_0 expresses concerns about buying an Apple headset on eBay where returns are refused. koalagris and lingma85 explain that the "returns refused" note does not apply if the item is not as described. Both participants point out that the buyer is protected by eBay's customer guarantee, as long as they comply with the site's terms of use.
Hello!
I'm contacting you with a question that may be a bit silly, but it's more to cover ourselves.
I'm interested in an Apple headset for sale on the platform.
The seller shows "no returns accepted". The item is identified as "airpods max Apple".
So, here's my question:
If the item received turns out to be a fake/counterfeit, what guarantees are provided by ebay/paypal. Would I be refunded without any problem?
Thank you!

Mentor2 years agoHello @picvin_0
Even if your seller says "returns refused".... you can always return an item because as a buyer you are under the banner of this link--> eBay Money Back Guarantee Policy | eBay
To benefit from this protection.. you simply need to follow the site's terms of use and not buy outside the site (sometimes asked by unreliable buyers and/or sellers...) and if there is a dispute, also respect all the deadlines allowed for resolving it...
Kind regards
koalagris
Mentor2 years agoGood evening @picvin_0
Given eBay's Terms of Use, the mention "return refused" is ONLY appropriate if the buyer wants to make a return for personal convenience (change of mind, for example), but not if the item is not as described:
