Hello

More of a professional seller, right? Depending on the type of purchase, possible but not mandatory.

Hello
I had never heard of that before (21 years on Ebay) I'm interested if
anyone has the answer. I'm wary of the many scams on the net

Hello @turbo-14-2019

Nothing strange about this request, which can avoid confusion over same names ....

For those who are interested.... A police record book must contain the following info

seller’s last name, first name and address,
description of the item or items,
number of their ID card or driver’s license, its date of issue and the prefecture that issued the ID document,
date of the sale,
seller’s signature.
With this sales certificate, you will fill in your police record book, in which you must indicate:
- a description of each item with a purchase value of more than 60 euros (otherwise the lot),
- the seller’s name,
- the seller’s ID document number,
- the date of the sale,
- a unique order number.
The unique order number must be written on each item with appropriate labeling.

In the event of an inspection, the unique-reference labels (the order number) make it possible to verify that all the items in your possession and that you have put up for sale as part of your activity are properly recorded in the police record book.

In the absence of an ID number, which many people are reluctant to give (which can be understandable...) the date and place of birth help identify a person in addition to their last name/first name and address...

This detail can possibly help you be cleared in the event of handling stolen goods... and same names...

  Regards
