Mentor6 months agoHello
The ebay guarantee is 30 days from delivery.
The 3 years, it's up to the seller to honor it.
If it's a French professional seller, send them a registered letter, but if it's a foreign one, you'll have a hard time getting the upper hand.
If by chance you paid by paypal, you have 180 days to file a dispute.

Mentor6 months agoHello @marm4254_8kxlug15zj
On ebay the deadline to request a return for an item that doesn’t conform is 30 days from the delivery date.
Beyond that, and if you bought from a professional seller offering a warranty, it’s handled exclusively between you and the seller.
Best regards

OP6 months agonext day, and this item broke down about two weeks ago
roughly, and since it’s under warranty ( 3 years ) I would have liked to exchange it to
get another one.

Mentor6 months agoGood evening @marm4254_8kxlug15zj
This issue needs to be dealt with directly with your seller.
Contact the ------> Contact a seller | eBay
eBay's help as a site ends after the month following receipt of the purchase...
S ince the seller promised you a warranty, they are therefore a professional and their contact details are on their listings if you've misplaced them.
If they are French, send them a letter... then a formal notice if they don't respond, telling them that you are reporting them to the DGCCRF in their city. ( generally, that gets a reaction... )
If the seller is foreign.. you can just give up because the cost of the procedures is very high...
There may still be a way out if you paid by paypal....
- you have the option to open a dispute ( or see about an arrangement ) with this payment method within 180 days of a purchase...
Best regards

OP6 months agooffered by eBay. So what do we do, because as soon as I received the part on
30-12-2027 it was installed directly on the vehicle and this part
broke down 15 days ago. This is the 1st time I’ve run into a
problem like this with eBay and it’s not nice of you to keep bouncing
the issue back and forth with the seller because in the meantime I don’t have a vehicle
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mentor6 months ago" the 3-year warranty is offered by eBay" = false, it's the seller's responsibility.
"it's not very nice of you to pass the buck to the seller" = Here it's a forum between users...
"So what do we do" = you've already been answered, read it again.

Mentor6 months agore....
You write--->
"It’s the first time I’ve run into a problem like this with eBay, and it’s not good of you to keep passing the buck with the seller."
It would seem that this seller is showing a certain amount of bad faith...
If everything is true....--->
Then you don’t need to be polite...
- it’s directly a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, ordering them to do what’s necessary to fulfill their warranty obligations/promises within a timeframe you determine, otherwise you put together a file for the DGCCRF... (which should be done right away with a copy of the listing as well as your email exchanges... etc..)
This "institution" is there to defend users’ interests against the slick operators who want to shirk their professional responsibilities...
