Fed up with eBay customer service
Summary: romance029 expresses frustration with eBay's customer service, describing it as inefficient and unhelpful, with a lack of direct human interaction and overwhelming advertisements. francexpressdeal responds, noting the shift towards AI-driven support is common across platforms and suggests leaving eBay may not resolve these issues. lingma85 questions the need for external opinions on stopping sales and advises against lamenting changes that companies won't reverse.
eBay's so-called "service" is pathetic, two hours to read through all the options and your problem is never among them. Phone contact no longer exists; instead there’s chat, email, evasive answers, approximate solutions, and wasted time, not to mention the stress it creates.
On top of that, our listings are buried under ads; we can barely find our way around. I’m extremely disappointed by this "evolution"
I’ve limited my sales, I’m considering stopping them
And you?

If I’m not mistaken, you handle your sales without anyone’s help, which is good...
The evolution of Customer Service doesn’t suit you and you say you intend to stop your sales on the site...
why ask others what they intend to do...??
- is it to do what everyone else does...??
- is it because you need a more or less general opinion to have a solution to your hesitation...???
do you do this for all the decisions you have to make in your life...??
don’t forget that it’s not the "others" and their opinions that keep your pot boiling or put a steak on your plate. It may be better to try to adapt.
As for the site...
There’s not much point in lamenting... it never goes "backward".... and besides.. it doesn’t "go through" on the forum...
In short... I’m afraid you’re only wasting time..
It’s sad, but that’s how it is.
Best regards
.

regarding customer service, ebay is just following a general trend: there’s no more human contact and we’re dealing with AIs.
You can choose to leave eBay, but if it’s only for that, sooner or later you’ll run into the same problem on other sites...
