Refuse merchandise return
Hello, I sold a starter card described as programmed and that it needed to be reset; I’ve sold some without any problem. Now someone bought it, didn’t ask me anything, and is now asking for a return saying the card doesn’t work because they don’t know how to do the reset procedure. How do I refuse the return request?

OP1 month agoOkay thanks so the people bought it, we go to the trouble of packing, dropping off, and you still have to pay to pick it up, and eBay takes fees and basically endorses that, in fact there's no protection at all

Normally you can't refuse a return request... With eBay's help.. he'll get a refund... which is bound to happen... but then it will be without returning the item...
See where your interest lies...
refuse and eBay will refund you and you'll lose the card...
accept.. you lose the money but you get the card back...

OP1 month agoSo I don't have any solution, so I’m forced to do it again and on top of that at my own expense

Mentor1 month agoYeah...
Unfortunately, it's a risk all online sellers take at one point or another in their business, whether they're professionals or private individuals...
A sale should be considered worry-free after the 30 days following receipt (or more depending on the payment method used...)...
There's always some clever folks who take advantage of this convenience to do whatever they want and get away with it without a care...
Best regards
