Before contacting the police, try this---------->
Ask eBay to step in (for buyers) | eBay
You should know that to qualify for a refund, the purchase has to be returned by following this procedure--------->
Return an item to get a refund | eBay
If you have been doing a bit of a deal with your seller by private email.. that carries no weight with the site and the seller may not budge...
But...
ATTENTION
the deadlines for taking action with the site are strict....
after 30 days following receipt of the purchase, you can no longer ask the site for anything.
