Hello
I made a purchase on ebay, order number 08-11366-94062
price 477.19GBP the item is defective so I opened a dispute; the seller asked me to close the dispute and he would refund me. Unfortunately, I did that and have been waiting for a refund since then, but there has been no response. Can you contact him so that I can be refunded please

You are here on a user forum...
But even eBay won't be able to do anything about it = you believed the seller's nice promises by closing the dispute before getting a refund, which you absolutely shouldn't have done since on eBay there's only 1 dispute possible per item.
= Check with your payment provider to see if you have any recourse with them, because on the site it's dead and done for.

during office hours if possible and ask to be called back.
Given that you made a wrong move... they may do something to make up for it.. but I can’t guarantee that...
I’m afraid you’ve lost your money and that you can’t expect anything from eBay.
If you paid by paypal... see on your paypal account how to do it... you have 180 days after payment to react.

asked him that I am the one who has to do it

Mentor2 years agoYour seller has been feeding you nonsense from the start: stop believing him, he's stringing you along.
He had the power to trigger the refund (no need to close the dispute, because now eBay can no longer do anything for you).
card payment = check with your bank
too bad you didn't come to the forum sooner...
