Refund for a purchase

I bought an expansion tank for a solar installation in 07.2024, that is, 1 year ago - I sent an email to the seller about the malfunction problem - all the product has accumulated in the tank and no longer circulates - no response.
The European warranty is 2 years.
I would like it to be applied and am requesting a refund via e bay.
What is the process?

"refund via e bay" = impossible

after 30 days from the delivery date, nothing can be handled by the site anymore

So it's only between you and the seller...

Effectively - I referred to the purchases c/o **bleep** who handled the warranty issues - transparent for the buyer.
The seller remained deaf to it - !! too bad - but I'll look twice at the type of order c/o ebay so as not to run into this kind of problem.
