Refund for an item purchased more than 6 months ago
I pre-ordered an item two years ago. Having chosen to give up on the item because the wait was too long, I contacted the seller for a refund.
In agreement with them, a refund can be made. However, to refund me in the same way I purchased, they are asking me to cancel the order, something I cannot do after six months.
How do I go about getting a refund in this case?

Mentor7 months agoIt's up to the seller to refund you directly by an agreed-upon method since there is no longer any action possible on ebay ..
Don't hesitate to threaten him with legal action if he is unwilling to do so.

OP6 months agoIs there any way to contact someone at Ebay to put pressure on the seller? Because he agrees to a refund with a 15% penalty.
I don't really have any other means than to put pressure, unless the site gets involved.
I saw that you can be contacted by phone, but since I'm in Switzerland I'm contacted by a German by default and can't get help in French.

In Switzerland, help is only available in German.
