Refund in my favor
Summary: hermesiris ran into a problem after buying an item in Germany for €1121. The item received did not match the photos and was broken. After requesting a return from a seller who tried to delay the process, hermesiris asked eBay to step in. The dispute was closed in their favor, but the partial refund of €250 seems unsatisfactory. Despite filing a dispute, there is no review in progress and access to customer support is difficult.

I bought an item for €1121 in Germany it turned out that the item received is not quite the same as in the photos and on top of that the item is broken I asked the seller for a return and they did not refuse but tried to waste time using every possible excuse so I asked eBay to intervene the dispute was closed in my favor and I was « partially refunded> €250 is this normal?
I'm trying to contact eBay but I’m being asked for an order number and this one is unknown I should point out that the dispute was resolved less than 24 hours ago
I appealed this decision but apparently without new facts it will not be reviewed again what are my options especially since now it’s impossible to get in touch

It would be surprising if it were eBay that gave you a partial refund. Wouldn't it rather be the seller?
So, if this partial refund was accepted, then for eBay the dispute is closed.
Contact them again to review the situation.
