Refund by mistake for the order and items sent
Hello,
Instead of refunding the shipping costs to the buyer, I refunded the full order amount plus the fees deducted by eBay!
The package is currently out for delivery ... And the buyer hasn't told me anything!
What should I do? I don't see how to contact eBay.

Contacterebay is pointless...Try instead to see if you can block the delivery with the carrier ...

OP3 years agoThanks for this reply. The parcel has been sent back, it couldn't be delivered. Do you think I can have it redelivered to a different address?

If the parcel has been returned to you because of a wrong address.... receive it and contact the buyer to ask them to pay you for a new shipment because you have no reason to give this one away, and ask them to CONFIRM their address (this = your protection with regard to the site....).
Colissimo will not give you a free re-delivery because of an error on the recipient's part.

You indicated that you fully refunded this order (by mistake) in your first post. So why do you want to send it back?

the fact that an order isn’t delivered does not automatically trigger a refund for it (and thankfully, given the site’s tracking problems!)
Have you had a dispute for an item not received?

OP3 years agoNo, I think that simply the buyer asked for a refund; but now he’s asking me again to ship it with the correct address ...

That you don't know eBay is one thing, but it's very hard to follow you given the sequence of events and so to advise you ...

I think contacting EB would be pointless; better count on your buyer's honesty.
