Refund following incorrect postage paid by the seller
Hello, I just received my parcel, which the seller did not affix enough postage to. To collect this parcel, the post office is asking me for the missing postage amount plus additional fees. My question is: can I get these additional fees reimbursed by the seller?
Sure, but we assess a transaction as a whole, not just the delivery, so if we're satisfied with the rest, a neutral one will already be too high a price to pay..
But hey, everyone has to judge based on how they feel 😉
Normally, your seller should reimburse you for the amount of the extra fees (but not the difference in postage, which in any case you would have had to pay)...
It’s worth checking with them which payment methods to use (paypal, cheque, or bank transfer..)
An ad showing the wrong shipping cost amount can be considered “inaccurate” or “fraudulent” (to go to the extreme of vocabulary)... that’s an argument to help them understand their “mistake”...
Anyway, you have the ratings to give your feedback if your seller is turning a deaf ear..

This seems cooked for you
The extra fees ????
Remember to leave reviews for your sellers
And you’re giving him a negative one

A negative one for a postage amount error?

The error can also be intentional on the postage
Have a good day
