Repost an ad after deleting another ad
Summary: gingastuff is wondering whether it’s possible to relist an item after a listing was removed on eBay due to an erroneous report for selling hacking-related products. lingma85 advises against reposting the item in a similar way because it could jeopardize the seller account. It is recommended to follow the platform’s rules, especially regarding prohibited items and the sale of accounts, and to consider other sites for this type of transaction.
Hello, I would like to know whether it is possible to relist the same item after the removal of an ad whose product was precisely this item.
I’m asking because I don’t know what to do: since a user wrongly reported my ad, eBay removed it.
I therefore wanted to know whether it was possible to relist this same item through a different ad and, if so, under what conditions. (of course there is one condition I would not be able to meet: modify the ad to comply with the rules and correct what was wrong. Because indeed I am being accused of selling a product that enables hacking or is similar to it (GPS jammer etc...) whereas I am simply selling accounts that I own.
Thank you in advance for your reply, as well as for taking the time to read my message.
Kind regards

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @gingastuff
If one of your listings has been removed for a +/- specific reason.... it's better not to put the item back online, even under another listing... it's about the long-term survival of your seller account...
(- regarding prohibited items like jammers for example. ----> Rules on electronic equipment | eBay )
As for selling accounts.... it's forbidden because you don't own them, just a subscriber selling their subscription... which allows abuse, since passwords can be changed without the innocent buyer knowing, who then becomes a victim...
Although it happens, it's not allowed for all that... (see what is said about it online...)
You should go to another site for this kind of transaction...
Best regards
