Hand delivery and proof of delivery

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
In the case of hand delivery and cash payment on the day of pickup, what is the need to have the eBay app? Also, if we don't have the scanner or the 6-digit number that the buyer may have forgotten to give us, how would we validate proof of delivery/receipt of the item? If the buyer has accepted the item as they see it and can touch it at the agreed sale price, I don't see how they could make a fuss?

I know that my listing is online from 8 p.m. according to what eBay says. The listing has just been put online, so there are not yet any purchase offers, but I was wondering how it works in case someone accepted hand delivery at the proposed price with payment upon pickup, because I only sell this way. Is the app eBay talks about necessary, among other things?

If you're talking about the chandelier for €250, the purchase clearly hasn't even been validated on ebay = the listing is still online.
So your questions aren't really relevant...
