renewal of listings
Ebay tells us about listings renewed automatically and for free 9 times if it hasn’t found a buyer.
But I’m seeing that when I schedule my unsold items in batches, that doesn’t happen and I have to relaunch each listing one by one, which ultimately affects the number of free listings I’m entitled to.
Can you confirm this for me please?

Indeed, if you manually relist your listings, they will be deducted from your quota of free listings.
Regarding automatic relisting, you need to activate the relisting feature:
Fees for private sellers | eBay
"Auction listings that are automatically relisted using the automatic relisting feature, as well as monthly renewals of Good ’Til Canceled listings, do not incur additional insertion fees and are not counted against your monthly quota of free listings."
The number of free renewals depends on the auction duration:
Relist items | eBay
"Automatic relisting and renewal
Auction listings:
If you select the automatic relisting option (if available) when you create your listing:
Auction listings with a duration of 5 days or more are automatically renewed up to 8 times.
Auction listings with a duration of 3 days will be renewed up to 8 times as a 7-day listing.
Automatic relisting is free, except for listings in vehicle categories.
Automatic relisting is available for most categories, but there are some exclusions (see below). If you still haven't sold your item after 8 relistings, it will be shown in the Unsold items section."
