RETURN buyer from the United Kingdom
Summary: francisw5812 is having trouble with the return of an item sold on eBay to a buyer in the UK who doesn’t have a PayPal account, and is looking for a solution to send a return label from abroad. jacquelinedu36 suggests refunding the buyer via eBay or asking the buyer to pay the return shipping costs upfront.
Hello, I’ve been an Ebay member for 18 years and have more than 800 feedback ratings, and this is the first return I’ve been asked for... A buyer wants to return an item I sold him, supposedly because of an issue with the specifications! Anyway... I accepted his request. The person doesn’t have a Paypal account, so I have a problem with the return by the Royal Mail, I don’t know how to go about it, Ebay customer service tells me to buy a shipping label from La Poste in Colissimo? I’ve tried, but for the departure location there is only France! What solution is there, your help would be welcome Thank you Kind regards Francis

Mentor2 years agoHello,
You give them a refund of €25 through eBay
If you do nothing eBay will refund the buyer and most importantly keep the item
Or ask them to pay the return shipping upfront and then you refund them
Logically no return label for abroad
