Order return
Summary: cube0051 asked for advice on the best way to handle a return order for a package that is still at a pickup point in order to get a refund. koalagris replied by explaining that, according to eBay's policies, the package has to be collected and sent back to be refunded, and that a refused or uncollected package is not covered by the eBay customer guarantee. The user is encouraged to follow the return process to avoid any charges being left on their account.
Hello,
I recently made a return request and the seller accepted it, I haven’t picked up the parcel yet, it is at a pickup point. Can I wait for it to be sent back to the sender so that I can be refunded, otherwise go to the pickup point and say I do not want to take it (I suppose in that case, it will be sent back more quickly) or else pick it up and send it back to the seller myself (which doesn’t suit me because the return shipping will be at my expense)
So there you go, I hope I’ve been clear enough, can you tell me what the best solution is?
Thank you for your help.

Mentor2 years agoHello @cube0051
A return request requires that you have received the item and sent it back to the seller.
In the case of a change of mind, return shipping will indeed be at your expense.
Warning, a refused or uncollected parcel does NOT benefit from the eBay customer guarantee...

So collect the parcel and follow the return procedure if you want to be refunded :
