Feedback from a card reader for nursing software
Summary: sopalla17 explains that they bought a second-hand health card reader that cannot be installed on their nursing software, contrary to expectations. When asking for a return from the seller, the seller demands that they state they changed their mind rather than report a non-compliant product, while also asking for an eBay return label. lingma85 advises following the instructions given on the eBay site to get a refund and asking the platform for help if there is a problem.
I ordered a used vital signs card reader for my nursing software. In the photo, the reader matched my usual reader in every way, but upon delivery and after contacting my software provider, this version of the reader cannot be installed on my software. So I requested a return from the seller, since the seller had mentioned "returns possible." The seller is being picky and is asking me to specify that I changed my mind and not that the reader doesn't match what I was looking for. He is asking me to reword my reason for return and for an eBay return slip. I don't know how to do that or how to get this slip. I feel like he's leading me on... Thanks for your advice on getting a refund.
