Return of a defective watch
Summary: kanath46 expressed concerns about a product return on eBay, noting that the seller only provided their address without a return label. lingma85 advised not to wait for the seller and to proceed directly with shipping via a carrier, suggesting using a standard shipping label and including the tracking number. They also mentioned checking whether the return shipping costs were the seller's responsibility.
Hello,
I am reaching out to you following a purchase on eBay order no. [Référence] of a Swatch automatic watch, where the seller accepted my return request but in reply only provided me with his address and no return label, as stated.
As a result, I have just sent him an email so that he can send me a return label.
If not, I will call on your services.
Thank you,
Kind regards

Mentor1 year agoGood evening @kanath46
A seller may agree to send you a return slip... (which is nothing more than a standard shipping slip)
BUT...
- it will just be the same document as the one you could get directly from your carrier (Poste and/or M.relay or other...)
So... given that this seller has given you their address... I don't see the point in them sending you this slip if it isn't stated that return costs are the seller's responsibility....
Don't waste time unnecessarily...
- go to your preferred carrier, fill out your shipping slip, pay and send it..
Don't forget to indicate the tracking number in the return request you made
