eBay return
I wanted to return a product that I bought by mistake and that has already been shipped. I created a return request, but the shipping label that eBay is offering me is €10.50, whereas a tracked letter is enough for my product. Am I required to use the method recommended by eBay, or can I send it by letter as long as it is tracked please?

Since we know nothing about the item, its value, or the destination (France? abroad?), it isn't possible to advise you effectively.

Alas, I’m not able to talk to them on the phone. I thought there would be a written platform.
My question is mainly about the shipping method, is the eBay label mandatory? Or can we use another method, as long as tracking is provided? If anyone knows the answer...

Mentor2 years ago"can we go through another method" = yes, you’ll need to enter the tracking number for the dispute.
The problem is that proof of dispatch isn’t enough, you need proof of delivery.
If the tracked letter isn’t scanned on arrival OR if it suffers a carrier failure, that won’t validate the return and then no one will compensate you.
I do hope the customer service made that clear to you...
