Return and refund refusal
Summary: aas.77 opened a dispute on eBay regarding a returned item because the seller had not initially responded. After shipping the item, the seller said the refund would be issued once the dispute was closed. koalagris advised following the return procedure and contacting customer service if needed, while keeping an eye on the deadlines. *miss-tigri* also recommended not closing the dispute and contacting customer service to ensure the refund.
I opened a dispute regarding a return for an item because the seller was not responding to my return request. Once the dispute was opened, he replied and had the item picked up by Geodis.
I sent him another message telling him that after a week I thought he had received the item and that I would like to be refunded, but he replied that I would be refunded once the eBay dispute was closed
What should I do?
Because I think the dispute will be closed once I have been refunded

Mentor2 years agoHello
Have you sent the return information in the return procedure?
Above all, do not close the dispute and contact customer service.

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @aas.77
Read the procedure:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/renvoyer-un-objet-pour-obtenir-un-remboursement?id=4041&st=3&pos=1&query=Renvoyer%20un%20objet%20pour%20obtenir%20un%20remboursement&intent=demande%20de%20retour&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1134
Be careful, the dispute will be closed with no further action 21 days after it is opened if the refund has not been confirmed and you do not ask eBay to intervene, so keep a close eye on the deadlines and contact customer service if needed (the contact link is right at the bottom of the help page: "ask us to call you")
Best regards
