UNAUTHORIZED CUSTOMER RETURN ASSISTANCE
Summary: josepha2712 expresses concerns about a fraudulent return from a buyer who falsely claims that the item does not match its description. *miss-tigri* advises accepting the return to avoid the dispute being closed in the buyer's favor, then inspecting the item when it is returned and reporting any issues with evidence. josepha2712 is considering contacting eBay once the item is recovered to explain the situation.
Hello,
I have an abusive return request from a buyer who claims that the dimensions of my item (€800!) are not correct! which is false, and that the item does not match its description, which is also false (fake photos), all to get a return at my expense!!!!! knowing that I do not accept returns even though I understood that I had to accept this request; however, eBay states that return shipping costs can be covered by the buyer, who of course is not giving me any news! She received the item on January 24 and filed a return request on the 28th, so she had 4 days to wear the jacket!!! a disgrace, what should I do so I am not affected? Do I have to pay for this return label to send by February 2? once the item is received, I contact eBay so they can see that the buyer is lying? thank you for your replies, have a nice day,
*miss-tigri*
Mentor8 months agoHello
In the case of a non-compliant item, it’s better for the seller to accept the return, which they can’t refuse for such a reason, and provide a return label, because eBay could close the dispute in the buyer’s favor, and they’ll be refunded without having to send back their purchase ..
Inspect the jacket when it comes back and report a problem, with proof to back it up, if there is one .
