if the package is lost
hello I have a fairly expensive item that I would like to sell through eBay if the package is lost or stolen are you fully reimbursed or do you need to take out extra insurance with the post office or Mondial Relay etc?

In the event that the parcel is lost by the carrier: the seller fully refunds the buyer, while making a claim with the carrier in order to be compensated themselves.
It is therefore, indeed, crucial to make sure you use a shipping method with insurance covering the total value of the item + shipping, if you don't want to have to pay out of pocket in the event of a carrier failure.
