SIRET
Hello,
I’m a professional and I’m looking for where to enter my SIRET number (and the VAT number that comes with it), so I can reclaim VAT on my purchases (In order to reclaim it, my VAT number must appear on the purchase invoice). I do not make sales. Thank you for your help

If you are a French professional, your way of understanding VAT is curious...
1) - for VAT to be reclaimable, the seller/supplier has to be registered for it...
On the other hand, the VAT number of a business buyer never appears on the invoice issued by a supplier.. only the supplier's one appears (which seems logical...)...
2) - Reclaiming is done on the monthly or quarterly VAT return... (depending on your status) which determines the amount of VAT due after deduction of VAT paid to your different suppliers..
3) - to display your VAT number, see here-----> Tax obligations in France for professional sellers | eBay

OP1 year agoWhat matters to me is rather my SIRET number (buyer side), and I want it to appear on the invoice. In addition to, of course, the seller's legal mentions.
These are mandatory details on invoices between professionals

Mentor1 year agoHello @skartek528
you don't need to fill in anything on the site as a buyer to get an invoice from your professional seller.
When you make a purchase from a professional, all you need to do is clearly tell them that you want an invoice.

OP1 year agoGood evening and thank you for your reply
The "problem" is not having an invoice, but having a compliant invoice.
The seller is supposed to display my information (legal notices), in a business-to-business transaction.
For him to be able to include my legal notices, he still needs to know them.
""Should appear here the VAT identification number of the seller and the professional customer (only if the latter is liable for VAT)."""

Thank you, I understood...
No need to give the legal texts, that doesn't change anything about what was said to you previously: when you make a purchase, you will ask the pro seller for the invoice. So at that point, you will provide him with the necessary information.
eBay does not allow you to do it any other way at this time.
If you believe he issued a non-compliant invoice, you will deal with the issue directly with him.
It will be quite difficult to tell you anything else about a problem that does not exist at this time!
Have a good evening.

Mentor1 year agore... @skartek528
The legal information that a supplier is required to include on an invoice includes their contact details.. Tel. + + VAT no. if they are registered for it...
You, as a customer of your supplier, collect the invoices showing your contact details but the VAT number does not need to be there...
If you want your VAT number to be shown on the invoices made by the suppliers, you write it yourself... your supplier's obligation ends at giving the amount excl. VAT + the VAT rate applied and the resulting amount, then the resulting total. That's all..
Moreover, in the text you are referring to, what you want is not mentioned there.
Kind regards

OP1 year agoHello and thank you for your replies,
Forgive me if I seem insistent, but it is clearly written in black and white (https://www.economie.gouv.fr/entreprises/factures-mentions-obligatoires) that the seller must display the VAT identification number :
"The seller's and the professional buyer's VAT identification number must appear here (only if the latter is liable for VAT)
These mentions are not mandatory for invoices whose amount excluding tax is less than or equal to 150 euros."
From what I understood, Ebay does not allow this; in theory, you would need to deal directly with the seller so that they display this information.
The original purpose of this post being to find where to put the tax information on Ebay, and the answer having been provided (https://www.ebay.fr/spr/vat) the topic can be closed. Thank you for your replies.
