Summary: tshim_513 shared a negative experience with buying a defective product on eBay. After trying to return the item, they ran into problems with an incorrect return address, resulting in an $80 loss. Despite their attempts, eBay was not helpful, leading tshim_513 to decide not to use the platform anymore.

I bought a splatoondyalies for my daughter that only worked for 2 hours before it stopped working. The seller had agreed to refund me, but at the post office apparently the address was wrong so I couldn't return it. So I lost $80 like that and the people at eBay really didn't help at all. It was the first time I used eBay and definitely the last. I learned my lesson and eBay is definitely not for me. If eBay is unable to verify the sellers who use their site
