Customs duty for a return to the United States

I need to return the product I bought at auction from a US seller. I am affected by customs duties because the post office told me that shipping to the United States could cause problems with these new rules.
In addition, the seller did not provide a return label, so I have to pay the fees.
Finally, I would like to know how to communicate the future tracking number to eBay to make sure that the seller does not deny having received the package.

that these are taxed twice (on import and then on export)?

Mentor1 year agoWhether it's a first shipment or a return of goods... for customs.. it's a package like any other ordinary package...
If customs duties are not paid before entry into the country... the package is held up.
