Summary: crazy-horse0 is having trouble selling their Krokus enlarger, because shipping it in three packages costs €70, far more than the €10 initially planned. lingma85 recommends canceling the current auction, correcting the listing error on eBay, and then relisting the item, despite the risk of losing a potential buyer, in order to avoid a financial loss.
I have put my Krokus enlarger up for sale with a shipping price of €10. My package cannot meet the carrier's standards.
I therefore made THREE packages to the carrier's dimensions:
1 at 21 kg - a second at 5 kg - and a third at 6 kg. I don't know how to indicate the shipping method with THREE different packages to send them to the buyer.
How can I change the prices since it cannot be €10 but rather €70.
There is an auction in progress and I cannot accept a sale at €80 and shipping at 70.
Thank you for telling me what to do.

Mentor2 years agoGood evening @crazy-horse0
You write---> "I can't accept a sale at €80 and shipping at €70......" and earlier you had specified---> "How since changing the prices that can't be €10 but rather €70. "
So there is a blatant error in your listing....
It would be wiser------>
1) - to cancel the bid by informing the bidder of the reason----> Cancel bids and manage bidders | eBay
2) - then to cancel the listing--> End a sale | eBay
and then
3) - relist with the corrected listing...
It is obvious that this maneuver risks making you lose your potential buyer.... but better that than losing money...
Kind regards
