Good evening, I changed a turbo from eBay for around €1000, brand new, I fitted the turbo and it worked very well, but it broke after two months. I explained it to the seller and want to use the warranty, he told me how it works, but to this day I have to send the turbo back and he is no longer replying. What should I do? Can eBay help me? At least with a refund? Thanks
Given that ebay's "customer guarantee" can’t work because the 30 days after delivery have passed, all you have left is --->
- if your seller is a professional seller....contact them using the details on the parcel or, failing that, on one of the listings on their account...
You send them a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt telling them to do what’s necessary for the turbo warranty or to refund you within a deadline you set, otherwise you’ll put together a file with the DGCCRF in their city...
That should get them moving...
- if your seller is a foreign pro or a private individual------> = you can’t do anything, unfortunately...
