eBay customer service is totally rubbish.
Summary: astek-2009 expresses his frustration with the customer service of an online sales site, mentioning recent difficulties that did not exist before. As a collector, he has been selling perfume minis since the 1980s, but his listings are frequently removed on the pretext of counterfeiting, which he finds absurd for legitimate 3.5 ml samples. He criticizes what he sees as excessive paranoia around counterfeits.
I've been on E-bay since 2009 and until 2 or 3 years ago, problems started coming up that hadn't been there before. What's more, customer service is completely useless. As a collector, I'm putting up for sale my collection of perfume miniatures that I started in the 80s. Since then, and repeatedly, customer service keeps removing them on the grounds that they are counterfeit ????? I didn't know people made counterfeit versions of this kind of thing, come on! let's be serious, brand-name 100 ml bottles yes, but 3.5 ml samples. especially since these miniatures are listed in various books. I can understand there being paranoia about counterfeiting, but still. Especially since most of the miniatures come from perfume shops.

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @astek-2009
Given that eBay is polluted by AI....
it doesn't take much for a robot to sweep a tiny thumbnail of a name that belongs to LVMH under the rug, whose brands are banned from sale on ebay.fr. (without looking any further...)
As for the label "counterfeit"... maybe look to the side of a friend who wishes you well while sending you to hell...
I'm afraid this game won't stop anytime soon unfortunately.
Look for other sales channels...
Best regards
