Seller doesn't want to issue me a return slip
Summary: li6re expressed concerns about an eBay purchase where parts are missing and the seller refuses to issue a return label. Return fees to China amount to 140 euros, and eBay says the seller cannot provide the label. He is advised to contact eBay customer service to resolve the issue, which he is considering doing. In addition, another participant mentions that a foreign seller cannot always issue a return label and suggests that a refund might be uncertain even after the item is returned.
The seller, who doesn't seem very honest, won't issue me a return label so I can send the package back to him. I even received a notification from eBay saying that the seller indicated that he is not able to create that label.
The shipping costs are 140 euros (China).
How should I proceed? If I pay them upfront, I know full well that I won't get them back. If I don't send the package before February 6, the return request will be automatically closed.
Thank you for your help.
PS: I already asked a question on this forum about this transaction because the seller gives me a return address in Germany while eBay gives me another one in China, so that he can say he didn't receive the return, that I got the address wrong and thus keep the package and not refund me (250€).
Regards
