Private seller: the buyer "doesn't like" the item received, eBay is charging me the shipping costs!!? | Community Mentor Help

Hello, I’m a private seller. A buyer is asking for a return because they "don’t like the item received". I’m not responsible if the buyer "doesn’t like what they bought", okay, I’m fine with taking the item back, it will please another buyer, but why should I have to pay the original shipping costs? Ebay apparently doesn’t leave me a choice even though I’m not responsible for the buyer’s fickleness. That doesn’t seem fair to me. (I shouldn’t have to sponsor the shipping costs of indecisive buyers). Has anyone encountered this kind of problem and is there a solution to refund only the price of the item? thanks in advance
