seller who sends the order despite cancellation 8 minutes after purchase

Hello, I bought a tarp that wasn’t the right model,
when I received the purchase confirmation email, I realized my mistake,
right away (less than 10 minutes) I do the process on the site to request the cancellation of the order, specifying as the reason that it’s a mistaken order.
nothing happens for three days, after that delay, a message tells me that my cancellation has not been taken into account because there is no response from the seller, and a few hours later the order is approved, shipped.
I find this very abusive, should the package be refused on delivery?
or should I accept it and then go through the steps to return it?

it's the seller who decides whether to accept the cancellation or not.
You can refuse the package.

"should I refuse the package upon delivery?" : no, because the customer guarantee will not apply to cover the refund.
"or should I accept it and then start the return process?" : yes, with return shipping costs at your expense (mistake/change of mind).
