Seller who pretended there was a return, but didn’t give me any label
Summary: fradila-88 is having a problem with a seller who sold a non-compliant item without offering a return label, thereby blocking any recourse. *miss-tigri* suggests involving eBay through their return procedures, while koalagris and other participants point out that the purchased item, a digital product, is not covered by eBay's guarantee. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, fradila-88 is left frustrated by the lack of responses and effective solutions from both the seller and eBay.
Hello, I have a problem with a seller, he sold me an item that was not as described, I explained it to him, and he says he doesn't want to refund me.
BUT he accepts the return, without sending me a return label, which means I can't open a dispute, can't ask eBay for help, and can't send the item back either.
I have already reported this seller to eBay twice, asking them to contact me, but so far no response.
What's more, I find it incredible that this way of blocking any recourse exists, I don't know if it has already been reported.
Do you have a solution?

OP1 year agoIt says in the return procedure that the seller has to give me a return label, that he has been informed, etc... BUT he hasn’t given me anything and refuses to provide me with anything since he doesn’t want to refund me, the return procedure exists, but since I can’t send the item back, I’m stuck.
I don’t have access to the "ask eBay to step in" button, I can only "contact the seller" who doesn’t want to do anything about it, how do I ask eBay to step in on this when I have no way to open the dispute and the procedure is going to be blocked forever since I can’t send the item back?

Mentor1 year agoHello @fradila-88
You bought a digital download.... not covered by the eBay guarantee.
(read the features of the item purchased again...)
So it makes sense that the seller can’t send you a return label since downloads are done over the internet... and that on the other hand, the refund will not be made...
Here’s what eBay says-> eBay Money Back Guarantee Policy | eBay
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the other hand, don’t regret anything...
- the training courses for "traders" are sucker traps...
By following them, you lose the money from your bets.. and it’s the site you choose that will be the winner...
(do a little search online about trading scams ... dig into it.. and you’ll tell yourself that all things considered you were lucky ).
Best regards

Mentor1 year agoHello @fradila-88
You bought a link for a training course: intangible goods
How do you plan to return it and why do you want a return slip??? 🤔
This kind of item is not covered by the eBay customer guarantee:
https://www.ebay.fr/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/rglement-de-la-garantie-client-ebay?id=4210&st=3&pos=1&query=R%C3%A8glement%20de%20la%20Garantie%20client%20eBay&intent=exclusions%20garantie%20ebay&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1238#excluded-items
"Digital content, intangible goods"
Hence the impossibility in disputes...
Best regards
