Seller gets revenge by making a false report
Summary: btamari raises concerns about an eBay seller who is retaliating by making false reports against their shop, following an initial complaint they filed for counterfeiting. After changing his username, the seller is said to have also made false statements in order to cause financial penalties for btamari. lingma85 advises btamari to contact eBay customer support to resolve the situation, noting that this could continue if the seller is overseas, for example Malaysian, which makes action by eBay France more complicated.
Hello.
After 1 first report for a fake item, the seller [Pseudo] got revenge by making a false non-compliance report on my shop, and at the same time changed his username, which was previously hist co-enteprise...
After a complaint, the listing was reinstated and now this man is making false reports saying that I made him offers outside of ebay so that I get financial penalties.
To stop him, I do the same with his other listings, and I would like to remind you that this follows a first report against this man who is getting revenge by ruining my account and trying to get me penalized.
One of my listings has therefore been canceled and I am waiting for a response from customer service.
I have been on eBay for 10 years, if this man continues, I will no longer be able to make sales on the ebay site.
Best regards,
lingma85
Mentor1 year agoGood evening @btamari
It seems that you started the hostilities with this seller (Malaysian..??)..
If you're upholding the "law of retaliation," you're not done yet...
See with Customer Service how to get out of this, but he may well track you down and keep messing with you... If it's the Malaysian seller... ebay.fr doesn't have much power against him ...
Best regards
