Hello, I just sold a gift card, I wanted to send the code via eBay messaging.

First I wanted to make sure that this didn’t pose any danger (especially because the buyer won’t be able to scan the barcode intended for an in-person handoff) Thank you for your reply

Hello

If you made a sale with in-person handoff, you need to stick to the procedure, otherwise cancel the sale and repost the listing with tracked shipping.
